About the Position

Rehabilitation Nurse Nursing Rehabilitation Nurse 13 weeks Night Shift 7 pm to 7 am Minimum 2 years of experience Current Illinois Registered Nurse license Current CPR/BLS Card Must-Have: Stroke certification is a plus but not required. Description: This position involves working the night shift from 7 pm to 7 am in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The responsibilities include providing care similar to a medical floor, excluding Heparin drips. The unit has a high neuro population, making previous experience with stroke patients desirable. Schedules require working every third weekend, specifically on Friday and Saturday nights. Sundays are part of the regular work week, with some flexibility available. The role includes assessing patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Providing explanations and instructions to patients or responsible persons is essential. Demonstrating the ability to use clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient conditions is crucial. Contributing to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict using professional communication skills is expected. You are required to meet responsibilities relating to core measures in patient care. Participation in continuing education is needed to maintain competency. Accurate and complete medical records must be maintained.
