The HR Intern position is a temporary role that offers less than 30 hours of work per week for a 3‑ to 6‑month assignment. The internship provides hands‑on experience across a range of HR functions and opportunities for professional growth. Responsibilities Assist with Total Rewards, Staffing, and People Operations projects for Business Partners. Create and update SOPs and policies. Partner with Business Partners on special projects. Rotate across HR functions—including Recruiting and Learning & Development—to gain broad exposure. Plan and execute internal events with the Employee Engagement Leadership Committee. Collect and analyze data, prepare research reports, and support the daily objectives of the HR team. Explore business units to deepen familiarity with Selene’s lines of business. Support special projects that support the organization’s goals. Qualifications Current student at an accredited college or university, preferably pursuing a degree in business, social science, or real estate. Strong academic background and results‑oriented mindset. Self‑motivated, creative, disciplined, and with a demonstrated interest in the real‑estate industry. Experience with the MS Office suite; knowledge of Workday or similar systems preferred. Excellent presentation, networking, and relationship‑building skills. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and analytic with strong problem‑solving abilities. Clear written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Customer‑service orientation.
