Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A per diem Pharmacist position is available in Portage, PA, offering the opportunity to work in a specialty pharmacy setting. This role requires a licensed Pharmacist to support medication distribution and provide expert guidance on drug use, ensuring high-quality customer service.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (8.5 hours each day)
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications as prescribed by licensed healthcare providers
- Educate patients and customers on proper medication usage and answer related questions
- Maintain a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and support within the pharmacy setting
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required
- Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
