Registered Nurse, Labor & Delivery

Location: Athens, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Labor & Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have the experience and confidence to work independently, providing compassionate care to patients across all ages. This role necessitates a strong team player mentality and the ability to collaborate effectively within a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as necessary
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about labor and delivery processes

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN License in Tennessee
• 2+ years of nursing experience, preferably in Labor & Delivery
• Current certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, PALS
• Must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start date
