Global Group Logistics Manager- Transportation

Overview Global Group Transportation Logistics Manager – Greenville, NC. This role involves leading end-to-end global logistics operations, managing financial exposure, and delivering executive-level insights within Ryder's Supply Chain Solutions division. Responsibilities Global ocean and air freight tender strategy, execution, and governance International trade compliance and customs expertise Financial exposure management (duties, detention, disputes, and cost validation) LLP / 4PL transition and change management experience Transportation Management Systems (TMS) configuration and systems governance Cross-functional leadership with global stakeholders and suppliers Drive operational excellence, support complex global logistics initiatives, and deliver executive-level insights to leadership Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree in business, logistics, supply chain or equivalent experience (required) Master\'s Degree in related field (preferred) 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, or related field (required) 5+ years of managing/directing direct reports (preferred) 5+ years managing large multi-level teams (required) 3+ years developing and implementing complete logistics solutions and project management (required) 3+ years leading teams in a LEAN environment (preferred) 3+ years of profit & loss responsibility (preferred) 1+ year managing customer KPIs (required) Knowledge of truck brokerage (advanced, preferred) Ryder products & services, pricing models, and related systems (advanced, preferred) Basic PC skills (Microsoft Office) (required) RD/Logistics/Transportation industry knowledge (advanced, preferred) Compensation and Benefits Pay Type: Exempt / Salary paid twice per month Annual Salary: $95,000 – $105,000 + bonus potential Bonus: 20% annually Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (flexible) Travel: 25% – 50% to customer locations Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision benefits start at 30 days; 401(k) with company match; other health and welfare benefits Travel 25% travel Important Notes EEO/AA/Female/Minority/Disabled/Veteran.
