Responsibilities Operates tufting machine Conducts production checklist and backing verification. Compares tufted carpet to griege standard Performs quality inspection during production runs, mends voids, and fixes other defects in carpets as required. Assists with Changing backing Doffs off carpet rolls Stays informed of applicable OSHA and company guidelines and operating procedures, and proactively identifies unsafe working and other environmental conditions to supervisor and/or appropriate department head or crew leader for resolution.
