Job Details Location: Andrews Baltimore - Middle River, MD 21220 Salary Range: $27.00 - $32.00 hourly Title: Journeyman Electrician Department: CDS Home Services Position: Full Time Shift Schedule: Day Exempt Status: Non-Exempt Hourly About the Job CDS Logistics and Home Services is hiring a full-time Electrician to join our Electrical Business, which focuses on installation and preventative maintenance of in‑home automated standby generators throughout Maryland. The employee will receive a company vehicle, cell phone, gas card and hands‑on training. In addition to installing generators, the role involves residential electrical work and expert customer service. Responsibilities Perform quality work within deadlines. Interact and communicate professionally with internal and external customer groups. Prioritize daily tasks in consideration of organizational strategic goals. Work independently while ensuring communication and coordination with stakeholders. Essential Job Functions Installation of automated standby generators. Preventative maintenance for automated standby generators. Complete residential electrical work. Troubleshoot electrical systems. Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures. Coordinate with office administrators to confirm daily schedule, communicate daily progress and challenges and complete paperwork daily. Physical Demands The job requires regular talking or hearing, sitting, standing for 8+ hours per day, using hands to finger, handle or feel; reaching with hands and arms; repetitive motion; and occasional lifting, pushing, pulling or moving up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment. The employee must be able to operate a vehicle within state and federal safety standards. Travel Frequent travel in the Mid‑Atlantic region to residential job sites throughout the day.
