Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will provide specialized obstetric care to mothers and newborns, ensuring patient safety and comfort during the childbirth process.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and interventions per established protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and update delivery care plans.
• Support mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in electronic health records.

Qualifications:

• Valid California RN license with current Nursys verification submitted within the last 2 weeks.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP (provider) certifications with valid expiration dates.
• Certified in Advanced Fetal Monitoring.
• At least 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
• Comfortable managing both maternal and neonatal care during delivery.
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours).
