Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, including pre-crisis and crisis plans, risk assessments, and medication management protocols tailored to each client’s needs. \n
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation that meets regulatory requirements, using tools and software to track client progress and treatment outcomes. \n
- Utilize evidence-based screening tools as required and contribute to the clinical decision-making process in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. \n
- Participate in the innovation of positive behavior support plans aimed at promoting wellness and reducing crisis situations among clients. \n
- Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with state and national standards. \n
- Establish and nurture relationships with various state agencies, community partners, and relevant service systems to coordinate care and resource-sharing. \n
- Maintain open communication with stakeholders to uphold compliance with contractual standards and strengthen the agency's presence in the community. \n
- Engage in ongoing professional development by attending relevant training sessions, workshops, and conferences, as well as contributing to task forces and committees related to mental health initiatives. \n
- Understand and promote the agency's mission, values, and philosophy in every interaction, demonstrating advocacy for client-centered approaches. \n
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to the overall success of the organization. \n
The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse client population, each presenting unique challenges related to mental health issues, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities. - A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical theory and practice. \n
