Job Description
CT Technologist - Full-time

Schedule:
Shift: 9a-5p M-F

Assignment Details:
Guaranteed Hours: 37
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:
- Active CT Technologist license
- Knowledge of radiographic procedures and techniques
- Experience with portable radiographic equipment
- Familiarity with PACS operation

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Access patient's condition prior to administering contrast media or performing radiographic procedures.
- Perform radiographic procedures as prescribed by a physician, determining proper technique through the selection of voltage, current, and exposure time.
- Position patients for proper views of affected areas and instruct them on physiological requirements for procedures.
- Prepare contrast media and administer it to patients, ensuring all required consent forms are signed prior to procedures.
- Chart completion of exams and other pertinent information in patient charts and discuss results with departmental supervisors when indicated.
- Participate in quality assurance monitoring and record outcomes, as well as teach radiography technology students proper procedures and equipment operation.
