Pharmacy Technician Opportunity

A hospital-based opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician in an inpatient setting located in Milan, OH. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations with a focus on sterile compounding and medication order entry, ensuring safe and efficient patient care. The assignment is contract to hire with a clear path to a permanent position.

Shift Details:

7 days on, 7 days off
Night shift, 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Typically runs Thursday through Thursday
Duration: 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately process medication orders using Meditech
Perform sterile compounding in compliance with hospital standards
Utilize Pyxis automation systems for medication distribution and inventory management
Maintain adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with pharmacy and healthcare teams to support patient care

Qualifications and Experience:

Active Ohio pharmacy technician license
National certification as a pharmacy technician
Proven experience in inpatient pharmacy environments
Demonstrated sterile compounding expertise
Strong proficiency with Pyxis automation systems

Location: Milan, OH

This position requires someone ready to work a consistent night shift schedule and committed to high standards in pharmacy services. Existing agreements are maintained with updates underway to continue support.
