RN Gastroenterology

The Registered Nurse in the Gastroenterology Clinic provides specialized nursing care for patients with complex digestive health conditions including pancreatobiliary disorders, swallowing difficulties, stents, liver issues, and reflux. This role involves patient assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality ambulatory care. The position requires at least 2 years of GI nursing experience, strong clinical skills, and effective communication, with a focus on supporting patients within the community setting. Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients with complex gastroenterology conditions.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members.
• Support patients with pancreatobiliary, swallowing, liver, reflux, and other digestive health needs.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
• Educate patients and families about disease management and care plans.
• Participate in clinic workflow and assist with ambulatory care procedures.

• Active Registered Nurse license in Colorado in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of specific gastroenterology nursing experience.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date.
• Graduate of an accredited or state board approved nursing program.
• Previous experience in RN Clinic or Ambulatory Care settings.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

• No on-call duties required.
• Work is performed in an ambulatory clinic environment specializing in complex gastroenterology care.

• Monday through Friday schedule.
• Five 8-hour shifts per week.
• No weekends or holiday shifts.
