We have an opening for a **Home Health Aide**to work **PRN.**Lakeview's Home Health Aide responsible for providing personal care services according to the client's plan of care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The home health aide will also have office responsibilities, as assigned, that may include, but not limited to, scheduling and intake.* Competitive pay* Health, dental, and vision benefits* Retirement plan with employer match* Employee Assistance Program* Fitness center and pool**Job Duties and Responsibilities*** Assists with client ADLs (activities of daily living) ensuring client is clean and appropriate. Provides bathing, grooming, oral care, peri care, catheter care, ostomy care, shampooing hair, shaving and any other personal care needed. Assists with dressing. Other personal care assistance as required.* Follow plan of care for meal planning, prepping, as well as any medical or special procedures, and emergency care as needed and/or required.* Medication observation only. Identify and report observations concerning client's medication.* Provides support to the Home Health Scheduler and Home Health Intake Coordinator. (See job description for Home Health Scheduler and Home Health Intake Coordinator for specifics).* Be the back-up for the Home Health Scheduler and Home Health Intake Coordinator for time off or when assigned.* Provides general office Administrative duties for Home Health services including, but not limited to, the following: answering phones, taking messages, managing fax communications, assisting with the coordination of Lakeview Village Home Health Services as assigned.* Assist with all inquiries for Home Health which includes reviewing, checking insurance, and approving to make sure the appropriate paper work is on hand for the staff as assigned.* Pre-Certification of all new referrals.* Assist with distributing Medicare paperwork as directed, tracking Physicians orders, assist with assembling and disassembling medical charts, assisting with quality assurance activities and regulatory compliance, etc.* Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.* Handles stress well, gets along with others in the workplace, maintains acceptable standards of conduct.* Adheres to all safety regulations and requirements.* Completes trainings as required by policy.* Supportive of Lakeview Village's vision, mission, and values.* Performs other duties as assigned.## Qualifications* Must be certified in the state of Kansas as a certified nurse assistant and home health aide.* Requires GED or High School Diploma.* Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications and Spreadsheets (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and must be able to learn the computer systems used at Lakeview Village.* Has the demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision* Ability to working independently, display a kind, courteous attitude, and work in a team-oriented setting with Clients, relatives, staff and others.* Possesses an empathetic approach to the elderly.* Able to work in a team setting with residents, relatives, staff, and others.IND103 #J-18808-Ljbffr
