Assistant Controller

ICX Group is recruiting for an Assistant Corporate Controller for a growing organization in Jacksonville. This is a high-visibility opportunity for a hands‑on accounting professional looking to grow into a future Controller position while helping build scalable processes within a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment. Key responsibilities include: Lead and manage month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP Supervise, mentor, and develop members of the accounting team Review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses to maintain accuracy and compliance Partner cross‑functionally with Finance and operational teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives Support annual audit activities, including coordination with external auditors and preparation of audit schedules Assist with implementation and enhancement of internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures Help optimize accounting systems and processes to support continued organizational growth and scalability Support technical accounting matters and assist with future acquisition‑related accounting and integration activitiesDrive process improvements and contribute to building a best‑in‑class accounting function Job Requirements 6–10+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment Prior leadership or team management experience Strong technical accounting, analytical, and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr ICX Group
