Day Care Worker (Infant Room)The Nixon-Smiley C.I.S.D. has an opening for a full-time Day Care Worker (infant room) at Mini Mustang Cottage in Nixon, Texas. This position will assist in implementing childcare programs and ensuring that each child is well cared for and safe. Provide routine care for infants and children in an instructional setting. Assignments to additional or specific duties may occur as necessary and are assigned by the Day Care Director.Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years old,High school diploma or hold a General Educational Development (GED) certificateComplete annual training, including first aid and CPRAbility to read and verbally communicate with children, staff, and parentsAbility to work with groups of children in a positive mannerAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsEffective organizational and communication skillsAbility to relate to children and adults with courtesy, respect, acceptance, compassion, and patienceSome experience in an infant/childcare settingApplication Procedure:1.
