About the Role Our client, a serene and holistic wellness retreat located near **Welkom, Free State**, is looking for an Advanced Massage Therapist & Wellness Coach. This role requires a deeply intuitive therapist with a broad knowledge of various massage modalities and a passion for guiding clients towards holistic well-being. You will be responsible for providing exceptional therapeutic massage services, as well as developing and delivering personalized wellness coaching programs. The ideal candidate is nurturing, knowledgeable, and committed to helping clients achieve their health and relaxation goals. This is a unique opportunity to practice in a tranquil setting that emphasizes natural healing and personal growth, situated in the **Welkom** area. The focus is on providing restorative and transformative experiences. Key Responsibilities Perform a variety of therapeutic massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and aromatherapy. Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their physical condition, health history, and wellness objectives. Develop and implement individualized wellness plans, incorporating massage therapy, stretching, and lifestyle recommendations. Provide expert advice on stress management, nutrition, and mindful living. Maintain a calm, clean, and relaxing treatment environment. Educate clients on the benefits of massage and holistic wellness practices. Stay updated with the latest advancements in massage therapy and wellness coaching. Manage client appointments and maintain accurate, confidential records. Collaborate with other wellness practitioners to ensure comprehensive client care. Contribute to the overall positive and therapeutic atmosphere of the retreat near **Welkom**. Requirements Accredited professional qualification in Massage Therapy. Certification in Wellness Coaching is highly advantageous. Minimum of 4 years of experience as a practicing Massage Therapist. Proficiency in multiple massage modalities and techniques. Excellent understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. Strong communication, empathy, and active listening skills. Ability to design and deliver effective wellness coaching sessions. A genuine passion for helping others improve their health and well-being. Professional and reliable demeanor. Willingness to work in the **Welkom, Free State** area.
