Employment Type Part-time Requirements Basic life support Cardiopulmonary resuscitation Licensed dental hygienist Local Anesthesia Certification Licensure: Current Pennsylvania Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license. Certifications: Must be CPR/BLS certified. Local Anesthesia certification is highly preferred. Clinical Skill: Proficiency in modern hygiene techniques and a gentle touch. Demeanor: Professional, reliable, and capable of providing a high level of service to an esthetic-focused patient base. Job Description Clinical Excellence: Perform thorough dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing with a focus on patient comfort. Diagnostic Screening: Conduct oral cancer screenings, take high-quality digital radiographs, and perform periodontal charting to aid in comprehensive diagnosis. Aesthetic Focus: Support the practice’s emphasis on esthetic dentistry by educating patients on cosmetic options and maintaining meticulous oral health standards. Patient Education: Provide tailored oral hygiene instruction and preventative counseling to help patients maintain their results between visits. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed electronic patient records regarding treatments and clinical findings. Benefits Competitive Pay (dependent on experience).
