Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070 - $2,180
• Location: Cape May Court House, NJ 08210 (Southern New Jersey healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (July 7, 2026 - October 3, 2026)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: Days, every other weekend (EOW), 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Employment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nursing Job
• Facility: Busy acute care hospital with Level 1 Trauma experience preferred

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of recent Telemetry RN or Progressive Care Unit clinical experience, preferably from a Level 1 Trauma center
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
• Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry skills (cardiac arrhythmia recognition, titration of telemetry leads)
• Ability to float to similar units (step-down, telemetry, med-surg) as needed
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Perform continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring and recognize changes in patient condition
• Assess patients, implement nursing interventions, and escalate care appropriately
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per orders and protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Accurately document patient assessments, care plans, and interventions in EPIC
• Support unit staffing by floating to like units when required to meet patient care needs
