Qualifications & Background
- Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and active CCC credentialing
- Eligible for or currently possess RIDE PK-12 SLP Certification
- Prior school-based SLP experience preferred
- SLPAs/CFs not eligible due to supervision and union guidelines
- Experience or eagerness to work in multilingual and multicultural environments
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver direct therapy, comprehensive assessments, and case management for a caseload averaging 60 students (with flexibility for vacancy coverage)
- Engage with specialized caseloads: PK–12, Early Childhood/Preschool, and Bilingual tracks
- Set up and manage AAC/assistive technology devices
- Collaborate with teachers and parents on student learning strategies
- Maintain documentation and participate actively as part of a multidisciplinary team
