About the Position

Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy Specialty: Occupational Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Licensed OT in the state of Texas Certifications: Required certifications in the relevant field Must-Have: Acute care experience, including clinical rotations while in school. Description: We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. The unit operates as a Level II trauma center. Staff includes 20 physical therapists and 12 occupational therapists. Expect to work a patient ratio of 12 patients per day. The focus will be on standard mobility and activities of daily living (ADL). Experience with complex trauma and complex neuro patients is preferred. Candidates should possess a high level of accountability and the ability to work autonomously. Weekend coverage is required, with the expectation of covering a Saturday or Sunday shift weekly.
