Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) position available in Austin, Texas. This contract role is scheduled for a 13-week assignment with night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, involving rotating weekends. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Valid respiratory therapist licensure, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications, with relevant experience in pediatric respiratory care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in intensive care unit (ICU), neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), or pediatric intensive care unit (PICU).
• Additional Information: Candidates should be familiar with ventilator management, oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and electronic medical records. Dress code includes scrub tops in olive green and black bottoms. The unit emphasizes a collaborative team environment with advanced equipment and technology.
