Assistant Dean for Curriculum and Evaluation – Advanced Nursing Practice (MSN, DNP, and Post-MS Certificate Programs) Position Information Recruitment/Posting Title: Assistant Dean for Curriculum and Evaluation – Advanced Nursing Practice (MSN, DNP, and Post-MS Certificate Programs) Department: Advanced Nursing Practice Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 (market determined) Benefits: Rutgers comprehensive benefits – medical, prescription drug, dental, paid vacation, holidays, leave programs, retirement plans, educational benefits, life insurance, and employee discounts. Posting Summary: The Assistant Dean reports to the Associate Dean and is responsible for implementing and evaluating DNP core courses, collaborating with Specialty Directors on recruitment and retention, tracking student progression, managing post‑graduation communication, and maintaining program quality. Academic Leadership: Collaborates with faculty and administration to develop curricula, oversee evaluations, mentor faculty, maintain curriculum knowledge, attend conferences, and comply with university policies and compliance standards. Administrative Leadership: Works with faculty, staff, and admissions to implement strategic plans, quality improvement, recruitment strategies, and post‑graduation communication; chairs meetings and interacts with units across the school and university. Position Status: Full Time Posting Number: 26FA0449 Qualifications Minimum Education: Terminal doctoral degree (DNP, EdD, or PhD in Nursing or related field preferred) with at least 3 years of teaching experience in nursing. Experience in academic administration and knowledge of national graduate nursing education standards and accreditation preferred. Demonstrated excellence in online nursing pedagogy and evaluation of learning outcomes and graduate nursing competencies. Licensure: Current RN licensure or eligibility for RN licensure in New Jersey. Adaptable, team player with a collaborative style. Creative thinker with high energy and enthusiasm. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
