Senior Intake Specialist

Senior Client Intake Specialist - Immigration/Criminal LawOur Fresno office is looking to hire an experienced Senior Client Intake Specialist (Immigration/Criminal Law) with a desire to grow within the legal industry. This position must be staffed by an individual who is business development oriented and works well with people. We ask that you have a strong customer service background and possess the ability to screen potential client calls. You will directly oversee and ensure the operational excellence of an Intake team that handles a large volume of incoming client calls. We're looking for candidates who have experience in Intake or Immigration assisting an attorney, either as an immigration clerk, legal assistant or paralegal. In order to be successful in this role it is necessary for this candidate to have experience in Immigration Law and an understanding of how to conduct a proper Intake. We're looking for a top-notch intake management professional who will manage multiple aspects of client relations for the law firm as well as the team of intake coordinators. This position will often be the first line of contact for potential clients.ResponsibilitiesDirectly oversees an Intake team and carries out supervisory responsibilities.Review and assigns new business intakeScreen telephone calls before scheduling an attorney-client consultationPersistently monitor all potential new client inquiries (email, internet, phone and referrals)Immediately contact every potential client and establish relationship with clientFollow up with pending inquiriesUpdate logs and reporting systems to reflect status of all potential new clientsConduct potential new client interviews with genuine empathy and compassionSchedule appointments for potential clientsTake accurate notes during the attorney-client initial consultationCollaborate with our attorneys to complete the initial consultation processAssist attorneys with administrative tasks related to opening new cases and maintaining databasesFollow instructions from the supervising attorney and perform accordinglyWrite emails, transcribe notes, research legal documents, fax, copy, and create spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets)QualificationsAre bilingual (English/Spanish) with full proficiency2+ years of experience in Management3+ years of experience in Immigration Law PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED2-3 years of customer service and/or sales experienceStrong background with performance-based metricsCase Management software experience is a major plusResourceful and motivated to solve issues as they ariseCustomer service attitudeWeekends as neededSALES MANAGERS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY WITH NO LEGAL BACKGROUNDSalary: $65,000 - $75,000, based on experience.Do you have a passion for the legal field and a desire to practice within an organization with lots of room for growth?
