Overview JOB TITLE: Cable Inspector - 2nd Shift LOCATION: Oldsmar, FL PAY RATE: $30/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client. Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role? Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary? Responsibilities Inspect cable assemblies using established methods, specifications, and quality requirements. Perform inspections using precision measuring tools, including: Dial indicators Micrometers Scales Accept, reject, or recommend rework for non-conforming products . Interpret blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, parts lists, and work instructions . Perform soldered and crimp inspections in accordance with IPC-A-620 standards . Monitor product quality using statistical process controls and inspection procedures . Communicate with assemblers, technicians, engineers, and management to resolve quality concerns. Support assembly-related tasks within assigned inspection areas as needed. Qualifications Strong experience in cable manufacturing and cable inspection . Experience with soldered and crimp inspections using IPC-A-620 standards . Ability to interpret: Technical drawings Diagrams Parts lists IPC manuals Work instructions Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with PCs and computer applications . Ability to work effectively in a team environment . Must be able to read and write English . No degree required. Must successfully pass a medical screening exam . Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
