The Opportunity Lead the transformation of Xodus' Oil & Gas practice Shape our market positioning in the decarbonization space, leveraging our global expertise and your industry network Build and mentor teams that combine technical excellence with strategic thinking Drive sustainable growth in the US market through relationship-based business development Requirements Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive US market strategy for Oil & Gas decarbonization services Transform our service delivery approach to emphasize early-stage advisory and strategic consulting Build lasting relationships with senior decision-makers in major energy companies Collaborate with global teams to leverage Xodus' international experience and capabilities Guide the development of innovative service offerings that address emerging client needs Lead thought leadership initiatives that establish Xodus as a trusted voice in energy transition Implement strategic pricing frameworks that optimize project profitability Identify and pursue high-value opportunities that drive margin growth Partner with project teams to ensure successful delivery of committed solutions, providing oversight and guidance while maintaining clear visibility of progress, risks, and milestones across multiple engagements. Monitor and influence project execution through effective stakeholder management, ensuring internal teams remain aligned with customer expectations and contractual commitments throughout the delivery lifecycle. Review and provide strategic input on project plans, resource allocation, and delivery timelines, collaborating with project managers to optimize execution strategies and maintain customer satisfaction. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, serving as an escalation point for delivery concerns while facilitating clear communication between all parties to resolve challenges proactively. Implement reporting mechanisms to track delivery performance across projects, identifying trends and potential risks that could impact customer satisfaction or project outcomes. Work closely with account teams to ensure smooth handover from sales to delivery, verifying that project scope and commitments are clearly documented and effectively communicated to implementation teams. Drive continuous improvement by analyzing project delivery metrics, gathering customer feedback, and collaborating with delivery teams to enhance processes and methodologies. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to remove obstacles and provide necessary support, ensuring projects remain on track and align with customer expectations. Qualifications, Skills & Behaviours Highly experienced in Oil & Gas, with significant focus on decarbonization initiatives Proven track record of building and maintaining C-level relationships Demonstrated success in winning and delivering major consulting engagements Deep understanding of energy transition challenges and opportunities Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred Your Leadership Blueprint Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity Strong commercial acumen and business development skills Excellence in relationship building and networking Proven ability to lead organizational change Willingness to travel as needed to support business development How we work This role will be based in our Houston office and the hours can be worked flexibly across the week.
