OverviewSteampunk is seeking a Cybersecurity / ICAM SME to coordinate identity, credential, and access management program maturation for a large federal client, providing program integration support across the four ICAM pillars without directing implementation.ContributionsSupport development and maintenance of a comprehensive ICAM Program and Product Strategy, including policy and technology roadmapsEstablish program tracking tools, milestone registries, and dependency mapsCoordinate across the client and its implementation partners to integrate workstreams and resolve dependencies — explicitly without owning or directing implementation executionFacilitate stakeholder focus groups annually to define current-state/future-state ICAM vision and inform a prioritized improvement roadmapDevelop and deliver quarterly system owner communications and engagement activities, ICAM program status reports, and leadership dashboards with risk summaries and recommended actionsMaintain compliance alignment across all coordination artifacts with HSPD-12, M-19-17, CIO Directive 25-03, NIST 800-63, and FICAM requirementsQualificationsAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearanceBachelor's degree and 10+ years of total experience8+ years of identity, credential, and access management experience, including program-level (not just technical implementation) rolesDemonstrated knowledge of HSPD-12, CIO Directive 25-03, NIST 800-63, and FICAM requirementsStrong cross-organizational coordination skills, including working with multiple implementation partnersStrong written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing status reports and executive-facing dashboardsPreferred:Experience specifically in a coordination/PMO capacity rather than hands-on IAM engineeringFederal ICAM program experienceCISSP or equivalent cybersecurity/identity management certificationAbout steampunkSteampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $200,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
