Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ year of Stepdown experience required License: Michigan nursing license verification required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Proficiency in Cardiac Travel EKG comfortability Willingness to float to similar units Description: The Registered Nurse uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions. The RN is a critical member of the team that cares for a significant number of cardiology patients annually. Procedures include PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers. The unit specializes in the care of patients with congestive heart failure and conducts electrophysiology studies. The team is engaged in managing many national clinical trials. The department has achieved multiple awards for exceptional patient care. Teamwork among leadership, medical staff, and colleagues demonstrates top performance in care and efficiency. The organization advocates for patients' welfare with a strict attendance policy, which will be enforced starting on a specified date. Situations such as communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed in favor of the contractor.
