Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week hospital assignment requiring ARRT (CT) certification, NYS licensure, and at least 1 year of CT/PET experience.

Details

• Work in the CT department of a community hospital
• 3x12-hour day shifts, either 10:30 AM-11 PM or 8 AM-8:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling will not be considered for this assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year CT/PET experience required
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• NYS license required (license required if applicable)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Contrast injection experience required
• GE scanner experience preferred
• Compact license not accepted
• Must have a personal vehicle
• Permanent address must be included in profile and match Driver License/State ID

Additional Information

• Perform a variety of CT procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed techniques for diagnosis
• Capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures
• Ability to obtain intravenous access
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required
• Basic computer skills required
• Personal scrubs of any color permitted; no designs, cartoons, or hoodies
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
• COVID vaccination strongly encouraged but not required; status must be noted in profile
• No more than 5 days of RTO accepted, and must be requested and verified prior to upload
• Travelers with a permanent address in specific NY counties or within 50 miles of Glens Falls will be considered for this assignment
• Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts per 13-week contract with 2 hours notice
