Senior Project Manager Opportunity in Auburn, CA

Join our dynamic team in the beautiful city of Auburn, CA, where innovation meets opportunity. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead complex, multi-year projects with high visibility at Pacific Gas and Electric Company. This hybrid role offers a balanced work-life schedule with 50% on-site at Auburn or Chico and 50% remote work, following a 4/10 work schedule (Monday to Thursday).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of project development and implementation, serving as the single point of contact.
• Provide guidance in engineering, risk management, and alternative analyses.
• Oversee and administer EPC contracts and negotiate third-party contracts.
• Develop and champion company-wide best practices.
• Mentor and guide less experienced project managers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent in education and experience.
• 8 years of experience in project management, project controls, engineering, and/or construction for PG&E 9 years if an outside hire.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Knowledge of land acquisition, CPUC, environmental permitting, and EPC contracting procedures.

Preferences:

• Experience working with/for PG&E.
• Strong soft skills for team collaboration across different business lines.
• Willingness to learn new processes and seek improvements.
