About the Role
The Company is seeking a visionary Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead its information security program for the Americas. The CISO will be responsible for architecting and executing a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with global objectives and business outcomes. This includes designing and implementing security policies, standards, and control frameworks, as well as leading the enterprise-wide cyber risk management process. The role also involves ensuring compliance with international security standards, directing global security operations, and overseeing incident response activities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree or MBA preferred, and at least 12 years' experience in cybersecurity, IT, or risk management, including a minimum of 5 years in an executive or senior global leadership role. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for enabling business success through security, and a collaborative leader who can thrive in a fast-paced, diverse environment. Key responsibilities for the CISO at the company include leading a high-performing, globally distributed team of security professionals, cultivating a culture of continuous learning and innovation, and investing in talent development. The CISO will also be a trusted advisor to the regional executive team, responsible for translating complex cybersecurity concepts into business-oriented decisions, and will engage in stakeholder communication at all levels, including the Board of Directors. Experience in building and scaling cross-functional teams, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, regulatory compliance, and incident response are essential. The role offers the opportunity to shape the cybersecurity agenda for a global logistics leader and directly influence business resilience and growth.
