Emergency Department Nursing Opportunities

Join our Emergency Department Nursing team! Care for patients across the lifespan in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where you'll perform bedside procedures, utilize advanced trauma equipment, manage continuous bedside monitoring, administer vasoactive medications, and provide sedation for ventilated patients.

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for External Candidates (.80 FTE or greater) Multiple RN Opportunities Available in the Emergency Department Shifts Available:

Full-Time:

• Day Shift: 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM
• Mid Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM, 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM, & 3:00 PM - 3:30 AM
• Night Shift Weekend Package (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Part Time (0.3):

• Nights (0.3): 7:30 PM - 8:00 PM
• Days (0.3): 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM
• Mid (0.6): 12:00 PM - 12:30 AM

With Rock Island serving as a Level II Trauma Center and Bettendorf as a Level IV Trauma Center, you'll gain experience caring for a wide range of trauma patients and medical emergencies. Responsibilities

• Demonstrates high-quality nursing care using the nursing process and specialty-specific clinical skills.
• Assesses patient and family needs and develops individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provides age-appropriate, culturally sensitive patient and family education using effective teaching strategies.
• Utilizes critical thinking to make independent judgments, delegate tasks, and maintain accountability for patient outcomes.
• Engages in professional development and shares knowledge through networking, research, and collaboration.
• Maintains current licenses/certifications and adheres to HIPAA, JCAHO, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Ensures patient and workplace safety by preventing errors, accidents, and infections, and promptly reporting concerns.

Qualifications

Education:

• Diploma from an RN program.

License(s)/Certification(s):

• Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
• Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
• Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must possess and maintain ACLS
