Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech
• BLS certification
• Meditech experience required.
• Microbiology experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of microbiology plate reading experience and/or microbiology supervisory experience required.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Medical Lab Scientist (Technologist)/Technician required.

Assignment Details

• 7 on/7 off schedule.
• Working hours: 10:30am - 9:00pm.
• Weekdays only.
• No weekends.
• No call.
