The Social Media Strategist will play a key role in shaping and executing Born Primitive’s social media presence across all platforms. This role goes beyond posting and scheduling, it requires strategic thinking, strong creative instincts, and the ability to translate brand goals into high‑performing content. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of growing and managing brand social channels, mentoring others, and driving measurable engagement and conversion. Key Responsibilities Own day‑to‑day execution of Born Primitive’s social media strategy across all platforms Develop and manage content calendars aligned with product launches, campaigns, and brand initiatives Create and oversee compelling, on‑brand content (copy, imagery, short‑form video) Lead community engagement efforts, ensuring timely, authentic responses across comments and DMs Analyze social performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Creative, Product, Partnerships, and E‑Commerce teams Support influencer, ambassador, and athlete partnerships from a social content perspective Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm changes, and emerging content formats Mentor junior team members or contractors supporting social media execution Ensure brand voice consistency and high‑quality standards across all social touchpoints Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of hands‑on social media experience managing brand accounts Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Deep understanding of major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X) and best practices Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone across platforms Proven experience analyzing performance metrics and optimizing content accordingly Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable owning projects end‑to‑end Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑accountability environment Strong alignment with Born Primitive’s mission, fitness culture, and values Preferred Experience Experience in athletic apparel, lifestyle, fitness, or DTC brands Short‑form video leadership (Reels strategy and execution) Experience working with influencers, athletes, and ambassador programs Familiarity with social commerce and driving conversion through social channels Experience with social analytics and scheduling platforms What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Generous employee apparel discounts Mission‑driven, collaborative culture Opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a growing brand #J-18808-Ljbffr Born Primitive
