Part Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist

All Star Physical Therapy, a member of the Confluent Health family, is looking for a Part Time Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our Hemet team!

You set the tone for the entire patient experience: organized, warm, and professional from the very first call through every visit. This is a fast-paced, multi-tasking role where no two days look the same, and where your ability to stay calm, follow through, and take ownership makes a direct impact on patients and the clinical team.

Compensation: $19-$23/HR

Part Time: 16-20 Hours/Week (must be available for evening shift: until 6:30pm)

Location: Hemet, CA 92545

Responsibilities

You'll achieve success by:

• Creating a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sources
• Managing front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone calls
• Reviewing, scheduling, and following up on incoming referrals by gathering information, creating or updating patient records, and helping patients understand next steps
• Keeping patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, working waitlists, filling cancellations, and following up with patients who need future visits
• Collecting copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and professionally, including basic payment tracking or reconciliation when needed
• Protecting patient privacy and upholding HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in a medical front desk, healthcare reception, physical therapy, chiropractic, dental, or similar clinical office setting preferred but not required
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and follow-up skills
• Comfort using computers, phones, scheduling systems, electronic medical records, email, and basic spreadsheets
• Ability to discuss payments, scheduling expectations, and basic insurance information with professionalism
• A calm, patient-centered approach with strong attention to detail and a willingness to help the team
• Must be bilingual in English/Spanish to best serve our patient population
