Job Description
The Quality Control Inspector evaluates machined components and raw materials to verify conformance with specifications and drawings. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role uses hand measurement tools to identify defects, document nonconformances, support quality audits, and recommend corrective actions.
Responsibilities
- Inspect machined components and raw materials for quality and specification conformance.
- Identify and document product defects and nonconformances.
- Perform dimensional measurements using hand measurement tools.
- Review drawings to verify inspection requirements.
- Conduct quality audits.
- Support equipment calibration activities.
- Recommend corrective actions to address quality issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in quality control inspection.
- Blueprint reading proficiency.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience using calipers and micrometers.
- Strong inspection documentation skills.
- Root cause analysis experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
