MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, Iowa has an excellent opportunity for a Cardiac Internist to join the Cardiology department. The Cardiac Internist provides support on the clinic side to assist with access or follow-up appointments.

Opportunity Highlights

* Join the busy practice of 10 physicians, 10 fellows, and 7 NPs

* Practice includes inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services * Schedule includes 3 weeks in the Heart Center clinic/month and 1 week on the hospital CV Telemetry floor with Cardiology

* MercyOne Heart Center offers a full range of cardiology services, including non-invasive, invasive, interventional, & EP working together with cardiac surgery & vascular surgery services.

* Train alongside our Cardiology fellowship program * Cardiology Fellowship includes 3 residents/year and an interventional Cardiology Fellowship, accepting 1 per year * Cardiology Internist may apply for Cardiology Fellowship

* up to $15,000 moving allowance

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required. Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team. Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
