Imc LeaderLeader requires:48 hours per six-week scheduling periodA minimum of three 8-hour or two 12-hours shifts depending on the needs of unit in the weekend zone (7P Friday to 7A Monday) per 6-week scheduling period.Holidays and hard to fills as required by unitAbout the unitThe IMC unit at Trenton is a 24-bed unit. We are classified as a Critical Care-Telemetry unit. The unit has a focus on cardiac patients. Common illnesses that are treated on our unit include NSTEMI, post cardiac catheterization, COPD, Pneumonia, and CHF. We do see a wide variety of other illnesses as well. IMC continues to be a unit with a lot of longevity, and great staff retention rates. We have monthly Unit Council meetings, which are an opportunity for shared governance. Our typical RN to patient ratio is 3-4:1 and our NA to patient ratio is a maximum of 12:1.About Trenton HospitalThis Magnet®-designated facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for its patients and is one of four recipients of the Truven Health Advantage Award in the category of Health and Clinical Outcomes. Here, you will find a Level II trauma center that is a nationally recognized heart, vascular and pulmonary specialties along with other specialties like orthopedics, neurosurgery, and women's health.Scope of workProvides care to the patient according to the plan of care, unit routine and hospital policy under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services and appropriate documentation of services. Provides the services of an Observer for any patient on a patient care unit who has been assessed to require constant observation, either in person or via remote video monitoring, to maximize his/her safety.
