Line Leader

Becton Dickinson seeks a Line Leader to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations at a Columbus facility. The role involves supporting shift production leaders and associates, ensuring adherence to operational systems, and driving performance across safety, quality, production, and compliance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Spend minimum 90% of time on production floor coaching shift production leaders and associates
• Promptly address safety issues and incidents; ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Oversee Tier Management System and 5S execution; monitor staffing levels and training plans
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Reliability departments to resolve production needs
• Track and communicate production metrics, SQDC improvement strategies, and performance against schedules

Requirements

• Associate's degree completed or in progress, or 3 years supervisory experience in manufacturing
• Three years people leading experience preferred
• Three years manufacturing experience preferred
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in quality systems knowledge and Microsoft Office
• Advanced teambuilding and collaboration abilities
• Fluent in English (read, write, converse)
