Assembly Technician

Now hiring for an Assembly Technician in Hayward, CA. Pay rate is $20.50 per hour for a 1st shift schedule from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Job Duties:

• Performs basic mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Must be able to perform a leak test.
• Operates hand and power tools to complete assemblies.
• Reads and interprets work instructions to ensure accuracy of work performed.
• Interacts with management and team members to encourage effective communication on the production floor.
• Performs standard testing and minor troubleshooting.
• Ensures quality standards are met throughout all steps of the assembly process.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience assembling mechanical, electrical, or manufactured products using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, assembly drawings, work instructions, or technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately use measuring devices and maintain quality standards.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and productivity.

Physical Capabilities:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
• Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
