OR RN Circulator - Carlsbad, CAThis is a 13-week contract position.Days, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with 5 shifts of 8 hours each. Call is required.The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for patient care in the operating room. As a key member of the surgical team, the RN collaborates with the Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Operation Room Technicians, and other personnel to deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards.Ensure the timely preparation of supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding care and procedure updates.Maintain and update physician preference cards.Scrub and assist during surgical procedures as needed.Supervise personnel delivering patient care within the operating room environment.Minimum 2 years of experience as an OR RN Circulator.BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.Experience with general, orthopedic, obstetric, podiatry, plastic, endoscopic, trauma, and DaVinci robotics surgeries is essential.Adult and pediatric experience is required.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
