Trade Compliance Manager

As a Sr Trade Compliance Manager here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a key role in overseeing and ensuring import compliance within our Customs Broker Management processes. You will be responsible for managing relationships with customs brokers globally, monitoring compliance of trade and import regulations, and supporting the implementation of policies to mitigate risks associated with customs broker activities. You will report directly to our Director of Trade Compliance, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact Honeywell Aerospace’s ability to maintain regulatory compliance with customs and optimize customs broker operations, thereby supporting efficient and compliant global trade activities. Responsibilities Manage and monitor compliance with customs brokers with Honeywell’s trade policies and regulatory requirements. Establish Quarterly Broker Reporting and a regular cadence of communication through reporting and meetings. Conduct audits and assessments of broker activities to identify and address compliance risks. Collaborate with internal teams and external brokers to resolve compliance issues and improve processes. Support the development and implementation of broker management policies and procedures. Stay updated on customs regulations and broker compliance best practices to ensure ongoing adherence. Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE Experience in customs broker management or trade compliance with a strong understanding of international trade regulations. Knowledge of customs brokerage operations, compliance requirements, and documentation. Proficiency with compliance monitoring tools and audit processes. Strong analytical skills to assess broker performance and compliance risks. WE VALUE Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field. 5+ years of experience in customs compliance, broker management, or related roles.
