Position Purpose

The Nurse Supervisor is a designated clinical leader responsible for coordinating planning and overseeing patient care operations within the Acute Cardiac Unit. Working in collaboration with the Department Director this role ensures high-quality safe and efficient care delivery while promoting staff engagement regulatory compliance and service excellence in alignment with Trinity Healths Mission and values.

What You Will Do

• Full-time 36-Hour Night position

• Provides clinical and operational leadership for the Acute Cardiac IMC Unit during assigned shift

• Coordinates patient care delivery staffing assignments and daily workflow based on acuity and census

• Supervises nursing and support staff ensuring adherence to clinical standards and best practices

• Ensures compliance with regulatory accreditation and organizational requirements

• Participates in development and implementation of patient care standards and evidence-based practices

• Supports quality improvement patient safety and performance initiatives

• Facilitates staff orientation training and professional development

• Promotes a culture of service excellence and patient-centered care

• Serves as a clinical resource and professional role model for staff

Minimum Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Maryland or Compact State

• BLS certification (American Heart Association)

• Minimum of three (3) years of Acute Cardiac nursing experience

Preferred

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

• Prior leadership charge nurse or supervisory experience

• Experience in cardiac or intermediate care settings

Pay Range: $39.47 - $61.20

Pay is based on experience skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
