Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Contract Nursing Opportunity

Provide specialized care for newborns in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in a contract nursing opportunity. This role is focused on supporting the smallest and most vulnerable patients, working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill or premature infants in the NICU.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage complex medical equipment.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
• Support families and provide education on infant care and treatment plans.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in patient records.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or changes in patient status.
• Adhere to established protocols, infection control standards, and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license.
• Minimum of one year of recent, acute NICU nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to make critical decisions quickly.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills.
• Ability to maintain calm under pressure in a demanding clinical setting.
