Job Title: Mobile Phlebotomist, PRN Location: San Diego, California Requisition Number: 41157 Job Summary We are currently seeking Health Screeners / Mobile Phlebotomists to join our team in San Diego. This as‑needed role offers flexible scheduling and highly competitive pay. You will travel to local companies within your area to perform health screenings for their employees. What We Offer Competitive compensation Flexible schedule, event‑based employment (must be Monday‑Friday, morning availability) Mileage reimbursement Fast‑paced, team environment Essential Job Functions Perform and record biometric testing results (height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, BMI) Conduct blood testing including fingerstick and/or venipuncture in a fast‑paced environment Prepare specimens for storage or additional processing Set up and break down portable blood draw/biometric station(s) Transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs.) Maintain logs and records for all laboratory transactions in accordance with departmental and regulatory requirements Must have morning availability (Monday‑Friday) for event‑based employment May require other duties as assigned Education Minimum high school diploma or GED is required Current national certification in phlebotomy from a Premise Health‑approved organization OR certificate/diploma and transcripts from an accredited phlebotomy program with hands‑on externship completed OR over 100 successful fingersticks within the last year or a minimum of 200 successful venipuncture draws within the last 6 months Active state‑specific phlebotomy certification required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA, WA, and LA Experience 1 year of health screening or phlebotomy experience preferred. Knowledge and Skills Outstanding customer service skills Punctual, responsible, and able to work with limited supervision Professional demeanor and appearance Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment Proof of professional credentialing Availability to work a PRN, event‑driven position Pass a full background check Reliable transportation Computer/internet savvy Knowledge and skills necessary to collect blood samples from patients Ability to work independently, safely, and in accordance with workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations (preferred) Other Duties This job description is not comprehensive; duties and responsibilities may change at any time.
