Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Travel) in Olathe, Kansas. Start date: August 30, 2026. Assignment length: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,981 – $2,047. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 3x12-hour Nights. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital with telemetry/cardiac care. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,981 – $2,047 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour Nights Start date: August 30, 2026 Setting: Telemetry/cardiac care in a short-term acute care environment Floating: Will float to all acute care units; weekend rotation every other weekend Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to telemetry/cardiac patients, following the plan of care and physician orders Monitor telemetry data and patient status; interpret rhythm strips and respond to arrhythmias or changes in condition Administer prescribed medications and intravenous therapies, including cardiac drips as indicated, and support initiation of Tikosyn/Sotalol per protocol Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EPIC electronic medical record; ensure timely and accurate charting Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the broader care team; participate in daily rounds and care planning Educate patients and families about procedures, treatments, and post-discharge plans; ensure patient safety and comfort Requirements Active Kansas RN license and BLS certification Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry experience; 2–5 years telemetry experience preferred Ability to work 12-hour night shifts; capable of floating to all acute care units and working every other weekend as required Proficiency with EPIC or similar EMR systems; strong documentation skills Credentialing expectations: CBC, DS, and lab work must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance Education: Registered Nurse degree and licensure to practice in Kansas Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment Dedicated onboarding and credentialing assistance to support faster start Orientation plan including unit-specific training and Epic training Assignment-specific guidance and ongoing support from a healthcare staffing partner
