Environmental Technician

Specific Duties:
- Repair, install, adjust, or maintain industrial production and processing machinery and pipeline distribution systems.
- Will be responsible for repairing Centrifugal Pumps, Positive Displacement Pumps, Reciprocal Compressors and Mechanical Seals.
- Familiar with Mechanical Seal piping plans.
- Operate conventional lathe and milling machines.
- Able to perform PM’s and equipment inspections, recording and reporting observations.
- Maintain Spare parts inventory and submit order requests as needed to maintain minimum stock levels.
- Record repairs and maintenance performed.
- Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
- Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
- Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
- Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
- Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment.
- Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
- Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using testing devices.
- Adhere to all corporate policies and standards.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Core Competencies: Troubleshoot mechanical problems, work independently, ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respirator in an industrial / refinery setting.

- High School diploma or equivalent
