Staff Pharmacist (New Grads Are Welcome) - Eden Prairie, MN
Location: Eden Prairie, MN Employment Type: Full-Time | In-Person Start Date: ASAP New Graduates: Welcome
Job Summary We are seeking licensed Staff Pharmacists to join a closed-door long-term care pharmacy. This role focuses on prescription verification, compounding oversight, and ensuring accurate, compliant medication dispensing while supporting nursing facilities and interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and review prescriptions for accuracy and compliance
- Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding processes
- Direct pharmacy staff in order processing, labeling, and fulfillment
- Dispense medications and provide clinical guidance to nursing staff and prescribers
- Maintain accurate records, inventory controls, and regulatory compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Provide rotating shift and on-call coverage as needed
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing
- Knowledge of prescription verification and compounding practices
- Long-term care or closed-door pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong communication, accuracy, and teamwork skills
- New graduates encouraged to apply

- Monday-Friday 4pm-12am PLUS be on call for afterhours
