Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Import Entry Specialist to join our operations team. In this vital role, you will manage the accurate and timely processing of import entries, ensuring compliance with all applicable customs regulations, FDA standards, and international trade laws. Your expertise in FDA entries is a PLUS.

Duties

• Prepare and submit import entry documentation in accordance with customs brokerage management and regulatory compliance standards.
• Review and verify shipment details against regulatory requirements with FDA. Must be strong in FDA entries.
• Communicate with freight forwarders, truckers, ship lines on a daily basis to ensure and facilitate efficient customs clearance management.
• Coordinating delivery of shipments with trucking companies in different ports across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum 3-5 years experience in customs brokerage including Air & Ocean Entries, FDA, ISF.
• Strong knowledge of FDA Entries.
• Strong understanding of US Customs regulations Including FDA regulations, and trade compliance standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability  to follow  instruction. 
• Use of cargowise software
• Use of Outlook Email.
• Knowledge of U.S. Customs Harmonized Tarrifs
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

We have an extensive and well established client base specializing but not limited to food products.
