Senior Associate Attorney – Insurance Defense (Texas) | Up to $180k + Bonuses
A top Texas litigation boutique is hiring a Senior Associate Attorney (8+ years) to run your own docket and get real courtroom time. If you’re an insurance defense litigator who thrives in depositions, hearings, and trial prep — this is the role that actually lets you do the work you’re great at.
What You’ll Do
Manage your own auto, trucking, or premises liability docket
Handle depositions, hearings, and day‑to‑day case strategy
Draft high‑quality motions and briefs
Prep cases for trial and work closely with lead partners
Operate with autonomy in a genuinely good‑people environment
Requirements
8+ years insurance defense litigation
Strong writer + confident courtroom presence
Texas‑licensed
In‑office 4 days/week (moving to 3 soon)
Compensation
Up to $180k base
$650/month health stipend
Free life + disability
4% 401(k) match
$100/month phone allowance
$1,500 CLE budget
Bonus: Hit hours = 5–10% of salary; exceed by 100+ hours = extra weeks of pay.
