VALUED POSITION SUMMARY

Our Project Coordinator II in Kalamazoo is a key partner to our Project Managers. You will cover warehouse organization, shipping and receiving, organize and stage project materials, so our teams are ready for every job, keeping our customers happy. You will also take on project processing: handling purchasing, getting projects ready for our Project Managers, and handing them off to our Foremen for execution. This gives our Project Managers more time to focus on running their projects and gives you a clear path toward project management.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Warehouse Organization, Shipping & Receiving

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments so everything has a home.
• Prepare outgoing shipments and help with returns, warranty items, and defective materials.
• Help keep inventory records accurate and up to date.
• Keep our warehouse clean, safe, and organized.

Project Material Organization & Staging

• Organize project materials as they arrive so they are easy to find and ready to go.
• Stage materials and tools so our field teams have what they need for each job.
• Keep packing slips, pick sheets, and job files organized.
• Keep our Project Managers updated on material status and anything that is missing.

Project Processing & Handoff

• Process projects for our Project Managers so scope, materials, and paperwork are ready before work begins.
• Handle purchasing for projects, including quotes, purchase orders, and order tracking.
• Work with vendors on lead times and delivery dates, and help resolve discrepancies on orders, shipments, and invoices.
• Hand off projects to our Foremen with a clear scope, materials list, schedule, and expectations.
• Follow up on progress and keep our Project Managers informed of status and concerns.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Some experience will be helpful. We will train you on Knight Watch processes, systems, and project processing. Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks and follow through.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and willing to learn new software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse tasks.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Hybrid role that splits time between the warehouse and project support.
• Warehouse setting with standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional travel to job sites.
• Fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, where you may help other departments like Service and Install.
